"11-year-old Caine Smith was choked, beaten, harassed, and was called a long list of names simply because he had two moms and long hair. Instead of staying locked away and hiding, he stood up and did something about it." -Adam Mordecai

I am NOT saying this is the case for everyone. BUT when you bully someone do you realize that YOU ARE THE ONE DRAINING SOCIETY.

Bullying a child can lead to an individual developing emotional problems, that will in effect eventually cause higher insurance premiums or ACA dollars.

It's simple, cause a measurable and unnecessary amount of stress and a person's bound to be weakened in certain aspects of their life. I don't agree with victims going crazy and doing horrific unimaginable things, but just know if you are a bully a whole bunch of us think you suck.

Thank you and I agree he has developed certain skills; I'm sure it was his progressive parents that helped him face this adversity in a constructive manner.

There's too many people in this world for everyone to be "normal" or "fit in", but there's no reason to make life so damn hard for those around us. There isn't even a benefit to bullying, on either end -- what, you get to feel like a "man" because you can pick a fight with an eleven year old.

It's people that have never dealt with adversity or complex issues that tend to lack empathy -- just saying icon_evil.gif

This is amazing. That little boy has more courage than most adults, including myself, probably.
