So here is the line up for Thanksgiving Day 2008

    Tennessee Titans at Detroit Lions
    at 12:30 (EST) on CBS

    Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys
    at 4:15 (EST) on FOX

    Arizona Cardinals at Philadelphia Eagles
at 8:15 (EST) on NFL Network

I have to say I am a little disappointed in the selection of games this year. I know that Detroit and Dallas have tradition on their side, but please. Who want to watch the winless Lions take on the the Titans who suffered their first slip up this past weekend? Should be a close game...enter sarcasm here! At least the Cowboys have started to turn things around, but the same cannot be said about the Seahawks. Regarding the last game, I cannot even bring myself to comment.

Last thing...even when the games aren't the best the halftime shows can be slightly entertaining. This years options Jesse McCartney (Detroit) and you guessed...The Jonas Brothers (Dallas). I don't even think there is a halftime show for the third game.

In the end I guess I am sticking with Dallas....I mean it's tradition.

What game will you be watching?

I am sure I will watch both day time games. Don't have the NFL network so can't watch the night game.

If the Lions can't get better, they should have their Thanksgiving game taken away. The Dallas-Seahawk game should be better.

Cardinals vs the Eagles should also be a good game.

Of those three the Cards/Eagles game looks the best. I'm a Rams fan, although now that my team is just about as pathetic as a professional sports team can be, I'd love to see Kurt Warner have a good season.

I know there has been some talk about taking the game away from Detroit because the Lions have been so bad for so long. I hope that they won't do that because it has been a family tradition for the men in my family to go to the game every year. There are generations here that have gone to the game for decades. I like rotating the late game though because it gives other fans in other cities the chance to experience a game on this holiday!

The Lions have had one good season since... since.... (still counting... system overflow)... since forever.

This message brought to you by the Michigan Panthers.
No, not the USFL team of old but now Michigan's gay team.

The Titans are my team, so obviously I'm pretty happy to see them playing Detroit tomorrow. But I agree, it won't be one of those exciting, down to the wire kind of games (or at least I hope not!) icon_eek.gif

Tennessee, Dallas, Arizona. Way too easy to pick. I'll have the games on more for the sound effects of football instead of actually watching these turkey bowls. This year, they are a waste of tradition. How about last year's Superbowl matchup in a grudge match? Why can't the NFL get nostalgic like that? Speaking of Superbowls, I think the NFL should reward the winner of the Superbowl with hosting the next year's Superbowl. Thoughts and comments? icon_idea.gificon_question.gif

These games are AWFUL! I'm watching the Titans demolish the hapless Lions right now. Honestly, its time for the NFL to take this game away from Detroit - what good is tradition if it produces a clunker every season?

That said, nice to see Chris Johnson helping my fantasy team!!!!
