So I've been fighting with the IRS for the last six months. Finally they send me a certified letter. So now I have to actually send something back in.

I owe them money from not reporting my self employment from two years back. Is there any way to get around this?

BTW. I came out of the closet 10 years ago today, and it's my Dad's Birthday.

    Congratulations to you!

    Happy Birthday to Dad!

    PAY YOUR FUCKING TAXES!

If I have to, you have to!

No, there is no way to get around it unless the people reporting you will confirm your denial, or if the government decides to forgive all debt as it needs no money - probably not likely.

I have heard that they're very open to easy payment terms. If so, it's probably a good idea to get an arrangement before the change of administration. They might get mean, later.
