Losing my keys, again and again, was the nightmare of my life. It got much better after I bought a wallet that had the key chain attached. My key "lossage" went down to about 10 percent.

My cell phone. Luckily it's never been on mute when I've had to call it from my land line. icon_redface.gif It doesn't get left at other places 'cause I'm not gadget-grafted like a lot of people. Unless a call or text is in progress it stays in a pocket.

Umbrellas. It's cloudy when you leave home, so you pick one up. Then the sun comes out. So you and it part company someplace where you've sat down. The same holds true for sunglasses when the weather does the exact opposite thing. (Sunny when you go out, then cloudy.)

Sometimes I have an idea and it is a good idea, then I lose that memory after 5 seconds. Then I have to rethink my thoughts.

    *itchy back I have*

the location of my parked car. I've become worse now that I use public transit often. I also have learned to hate alternate-side parking, now.

I always would, too. So I bought a key hanger for the kitchen wall, a kitschy souvenir item when we were in P-town.

I've trained myself to always hang my keys there when I walk in the front door, without fail, never leave them in my pocket. Other house keys go there, too. Means my husband also knows where to go for all the keys, as well. Organization and strict routine reduce my misplaced keys problem.

So horrible with this; have to play some strange game of association to remember someones name.
