    Hey guys...

I saw a post from Richard Branson a few weeks ago that said :

"How many times a day do you look at your phone and check your email?

Don't become a slave to technology - manage your phone, don't let it manage you."

So, I ask you RJers how you manage your technology? Between the amount of text messages, e-mails, how do you maintain your focus?

Especially as gay men we have all these apps to message each other on (grindr, scruff), dating sites, emails, texts, snapchat, instagram, it can all be overwhelming and we can waste plenty of time.

I'm curious to find out if this has affected your mental health or if you are just used to it. I know for me I need to take time to disconnect completely or I'll feel overwhelmed...

My stupid phone pocket dialed while I was peeing into the bowl. Nothing quite like having your dick in your hand, pissing, and hearing a female voice coming out of your pants, calling out your name a few times over the tinkling, "Is that youuuuuuu?" I had to go real bad too so I couldn't just stop, reach in and pick up the phone. I had to call back and apologize. Phone's been turned off since.

Mostly, I go through emails once in the morning and once at the end of the day. Glance at IM's when I have a chance - maybe once an hour. I don't have an assistant at the moment, but if I did, I'd never answer my phone. Ever. Sadly, I have to answer the business line every time.

The main thing I use my phone for is phone calls ... and sometmes reading a book, making a note, using the calculator, or looking something up on the internet ... I have de-activated texting ... if you have something to tell me then call me, it is just as easy and just as quick and I nver read my email off my phone. Of course I am also in front of my computer about 11 hours out of the day, but not on weekends.
