    Al Gore's reality

    "Extreme’ Weather

“The most powerful voice is that of Mother Nature, the increasing storms, floods, droughts and other extreme events,” Gore said."

Aristoshark saidOh no, climate denial too? I thought you were smarter than that.

No, actually pretty stoooopid, that's why I'm a skeptic.

    You're comparing apples with oranges.

And FYI, the world isn't confined to the US of A.

You're lucky you live in Ohio.

Where I fit in well due to multitudes of other hill jacks around the Midwest. One can't be as stupid as I am and be a good fit for the elitist coasts.

Hope I haven't erred in my right wing ways.

I can't help it. I'm trying to makes sense of what you're posting, but once again I don't see what your point is.

You're taking a quote from Al Gore about extreme weather events, that is very broad and vague, and you're comparing it to a report about extreme weather events in the US, in 2013. That's not a measure about what's going on elsewhere in the world. It's not a measure of what happened in the past. And it certainly isn't a measure of what's going to happen in the future.

    So again, what's your point?

Sadly, many Americans are this parochial and short-sighted. They see one heavy snowfall in their backyard in Ohio, and say: "See, there is no global warming. And besides, Rush Limbaugh told me on the radio that climate change is a hoax. That's good enough for me, I won't be tricked by all these climatology scientists around the world. What do THEY know compared to Rush?" icon_rolleyes.gif

One did not say I deny science, just not the false religion of Climate change; they got the facts wrong thats all! But you living a long life of denial, are the expert on the topic of denial.

But the religion of Climate change does not want to see that truth, just as the religion of God does not want to see the truth that the world was not created in six days, as it's still forming and storming, heating and cooling.

Once again, oh the religion of climate change; fanatics.

Yes maybe a mini ice age too. After all we have had them before and the last one was to bring about the French revolution, because the peasants would not diversify in their growing of crops.

Oh, those foolish French peasants, with their stubborn attachment to their wheat. They should have switched to growing potatoes, like the clever Irish ones did....

The problem with the irish was they did not diversify in their growing of spuds either. So when one failed they all failed; because.........
