I use to be 155 pounds in the summer, and now I am 160, but still many people say I am too thin or skinny. But apparently it is the most ideal weight for someone my height. I am 183.5cm, 6 feet, and I get told by a lot that 160 is rather thin.. Should I bulk up?

I don't think so. But I think that because so many people these days are very overweight, it makes the few that aren't look "strange" unfortunately.

I'm 6'1" and 165lbs. And people still say I'm "thin".

Only put on bulk if it's muscle. Don't bulk up with fat. Stay lean. It's hotter and "gay fit".

For me what I find attractive is not how much meat is on the guy's bones but if it's all toned and firm and not slack and out of shape. And bonus points for having bumpy hard abs.

    For example:

I'm exactly the same, 6'0 and 160lbs, and I'm not skinny. I think it just depends on the person.. how much of your weight is muscle versus fat, how it is distributed, etc..

Oddly, the tall genes come from the Shanghainese side of the family. My great-grandfather was 6'7". My brother is 6'4".

Yikes! I'm 5'7" and 179 lbs as of this afternoon (and still think I'm somewhat thinly built). It's showing large frame as a max of 168.

Not in the least, you probably look great. Different guys "yield different results" when you throw out different height and weight figures. Some look much better than others.
    I certainly wouldn't be concerned.

6'0" and was 125 all though high school and college, then 130 in my 30s, and have now bulked up to 140 through regular gym workouts.

    I'll never get big. icon_sad.gif

    I'm 6.0 and 159 or so.

Your "ideal" weight depends not only on your height but your bone structure.

Honestly it will depend on who you ask and their tastes. Personally I would say that yes you are too skinny but I would be biased since I'm after and really like bigger & muscled guys. Use what you have to the fullest and if you feel that you need to start bulking up then do so but please don't do it just for a somewhat shallow reason like to attract a guy but do it for yourself instead.
