Warm weather: Swimming in the lake, going for a hot bike ride, taking my bra off and just letting it all hang out.

COLD WEATHER! I hate cold weather! My nipples got so hard last year I accidentally keyed a car. I have big lips so they crack every chance they get. Getting dragged to haunted attractions and screaming louder than a teenage chick at a Justin Beiber concert. Are hoodies supposed to keep you warm, because I can still feel the cold seeping through!

    Shoo cold weather, shoo!

Try living up north if you think it's cold in Alabama.

I actually like Winter. Summer invites mosquitoes and other insects, dehydration, sometimes it makes people stink more. Summer is good, but I am a Winter person.

We've got at least another week of sunny indian-summer days forecast. (Already had two weeks.) 70 F right now and I'm breezing around the yard in shorts and flip-flops. Haven't seen a shirt for a few days.
Although it's a bit frosty in the mornings.

It was always hilarious, back in grad school, on mornings like this. "Native" kids would head out to class in shorts, tees, and sandals. Newly-arrived students from Florida or India who had never seen frost before would be stuffed into so many layers of parkas and mukluks, they looked like brightly-colored astronauts.

bambamgigolo saidit doesn't make a difference to me. it's either too hot or too damn cold. it's a lose lose situation. can't even get a break fall or spring especially spring when the pollen comes out. icon_sad.gif fall is just unpredictable. one minute, it's bearable. the next minute, it's extremely cold outside. just need to be somewhere where the weather is consistent, bearable and predictable.

In fall, we get sagebrush and rabbitbrush pollen. You can't win.

Y'all need to come up to my neck of the woods. It's currently 38 degrees out with a "real feel" of 31. That's getting cold. icon_wink.gificon_smile.gif

This morning I got up and it was freezing in my house - I was almost late for work because I didn't want to leave my nice warm covers!

It's still in the 70s here. We're expecting highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s for the next two weeks.

The coldest weather I've ever been in was -40 wind chill. It was so cold that your joints hurt.

Oil deliveries and furnace servicing I do in August but this year I'm running late on:

    - checking generator and getting gas additives for last year's Hurricane Sandy stockpile
    - having gas log set and snow blower serviced
    - scheduling sprinkler and fountain blower/shutoff for next week

That's this former Florida boy's "to do" list today! At least I don't have to put up hurricane shutters or have the tree canopies trimmed this year.

Yeah, once again I should be thinking about buying a new generator. But property tax bills just came. And I need some parts for the boat... If we have a big storm this winter, I'll be kicking myself.

Meanwhile, still sunny warm days, and that's all we see in the forecast. In fact, I had already drained the irrigation system for the winter, but I had to start it up again this week.
