BUT I dislike Sociology so bad and I cant change it, since its a Core unit (stuck with it till my Undergrad ends haha oh well).

Calculus (MAT136H @UofT)! It ruined my life icon_cry.gif
Had to take it twice, for Economics courses, where we don't really use calculus.

Yeah, sociology, and similarly an economics class that I withdrew from. The instructors were morons and the class was totally devoid of content. Fortunately, I could substitute psychology classes for the requirement. They were lame, but at least had some basis in objective reality.

Same here. But strangely, in my dotage I've developed a fondness for history. Especially war history (John Keegan is one of the best). And I love historical novels.

High School: I freaking hated Calculus/Trigonometry! (Got like a C in both)

College: Medieval Literature! Middle English! OMG, that was Hard!

I ended up liking Modern Lit, Psychology, Art, Film Media classes in College!

The only things I remembered/got out of my Sociology class were: Gays came out of Germany first, Capitalism vs. Communism! The collapse of the Soviet Union and the rise in Asia/China.

I enjoyed almost all of my classes and subjects. Then again, I find ways to appreciate everything and everyone, even if I get frustrated with particular people, it tends to be personality and not teaching content which drives me insane. Even then, it is like a dream when I look back on it, so it's not that bad. icon_razz.gif

I think the reason why I hated it is because it felt like I was forced to memorize a bunch of stories that I didn't find interesting. Examples were what Henry the VIII did versus Louis XVI....and there were the wars and remembering which countries pissed off each other. I'll take a foreign language class over a history one at any time.

Glad to hear you found the subject interesting. Honestly, the only history that I paid attention to is anything related to finance. It's hard for me to believe that a financial collapse that occurred 80 years ago continues to happen today. This last recession is one of the reasons why I got out of a career in investment banking and chose to be in healthcare instead.

Math and chemistry kicked my ass in high school and college lol. Somehow I defeated them both. Peter Griffin from Family Guy helped me realize that "Math my dear boy is nothing more than the lesbian sister of biology" haha!
