I was just wondering if anyone knew of any news or had any stories of positive change and progression in today's society regarding homosexuality. I know there have been posts regarding positive changes but I thought it would be good to have a running thread of them. We hear so many negative things that it becomes overwhelming at times.

The newbie, a ninth grader, showed up in pink September 5 for the first day of class at Central Kings Rural High School and was set upon by a group of six to 10 older teens who called him gay and threatened to beat him up, the paper reported.

On a personal level, I don't think I'd be able to be an openly gay man in a fraternity if we haven't made some progress.
