I'm a little curious... how many of you would go out of your way and drive or fly to go see the guy you've been talking on the phone, chatting online, and/or emailing? For example, if he's a few (maybe one or two) states away, and he has a suspended license, or can't drive because A) Doesn't know how because there is some reason behind it, or B.) He just doesn't want to. Would you do it?

This is just a hypothetical question. I just want to know everyone's opinions. If that's all right. icon_biggrin.gif

Definitely, if I truly love the person, and it's within my means to go visit.

if he B) He just doesnt want to - then no.

Otherwise, yeah, probably would if I was in the USA - a couple of states may not be all that long a drive...

If he truly deserves and worthy of meeting in person and if he also feels the same, another nation is also fine!

I've been willing to cross an international border to meet, however, the time just has not been right yet. I have driven over an hour to meet some guys on RJ

Hopefully you will not meet a homophobic person by possibility. Trust your instincts before anything else... otherwise if I chatted with him for years then why not give the possibility... icon_rolleyes.gif

No. a) doesn't know how to drive? Am I dating a 13 year old? no. Also even if he didn't know, can't he take a bus or a taxi?

    b) If he does not want to take the time to come see me, why would I?

And finally, I do not believe in long distance relationships. Done.
