Hello gentlemen. This site has always been chock-full of valuable advice and guys willing to give their two-cents on a multitude of topics. With that in mind, I come to you all wondering who among you are/were/are studying to be physician assistants. I am looking into going back to school to join the health field and I keep coming back to this job title as the top of my career wish list. Any "day in the life" stories, words of advice/caution, or insider knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

I'm an RN and I work with a bunch of PA's. I think it's a good career because you can have any undergrad degree and then go to PA school. My suggestion is choose a particular health discipline that you'll be interested in whether it's orthopedic, general surgery or critical care. Becoming a PA means choosing a specific field in medicine that will suit you.
