Before I start a new thread, does one already exist on the topic of asking out a straight guy? Your input is appreciated.

Don't bother searching for one or posting another one, or asking someone who is straight out. All three are futile in this situation.

Why not do something more productive, like helping out at an old people's home?

Most are about being rejected by a straight guy.

At any rate, the secret is booze, deception, and sinking low.

Isn't this the same as asking your sister out?

Joe is right tho, booze works sometimes.

if hes straight hes gonna say no, and maybe punch you in the face. on the other hand he might be "straight" and go along with it.

    Oh, not this topic again.

Last time consensus was however you'd normally ask out gay man or a bi man. But the time before that it was noted that the question is all wrong. It's not how to ask; it's what to wear. Just dress for the occasion.

Sure! If it's to hang out and that's it! Don't expect to bang him. He may fuck you over but he won't fuck you.

He's about the nicest guy I've met in years, very gentle yet not girly. He has that very much in balance. He works at the gym and has an incredible smile when he greets me. And yeah, he is very handsome, fit but not a competitive bodybuilder. And, he's a good listener. Or he looks like he's listening. I doubt he has any clue that I find him attractive.

His straightness isn't what is appealling, He's just a handsome but humble guy. Very down to earth. Actually I bet he is an ugly duckling who hasn't discovered how he's transformed. But being straight isn't what attracts me.

I didn't know if a guy was straight or not when I was in high school, but I asked him cause he looked a rougher version of one of those N'Sync guys. He became a lifelong friend. That was that.
Ask out a straight guy, for a date? Maybe just be friends and hangout. No fantasy or romance, but sure will give you a honest perspective on how he truly is over the course of time.
