Ok one for some of the non meat eater's. I'm looking for some ideas. Where is the best bed and breakfast you've ever been to. Also by best, I don't mean most expensive. I mean the ones with great views, nice owners, good food, hospitality or just where you had a really great time. For me it's who I'm with that means the most, but looking for a good surprise B-day gift trip. We stayed in a 2 room one twin bed place last summer in Ocean Grove NJ and had an awesome time. That was a spur of the moment so it's all there was left in town. This time I want to plan way ahead!

I had an amazing few days at the Black Pearl Inn in Provincetown on Cape Cod. Guy and Luis are the owners (always working on the property shirtless!). There are actually two houses, both with hot tubs and little living rooms and close to the main street. www.theblackpearlinn.com

The Cozy Cactus right outside Sedona, AZ. It backs onto protected land.

I took this pic off the patio

Wow really nice--awesome view. I'd sleep on a rock to see that!

A few years back while touring New England for fall foliage, we stayed at a little place in Bath, Maine. It is a "Pink House" called the Galen C Moses House and it was incredibly quaint. The owners are two wonderful guys. I would highly recommend it. Below is a link.
