Being a stripper?

Eh, I know I opened Pandora's box with this question but I have no one to talk about this so I decided here might be a good place to discuss...

Well... I've been looking for a part time job since 2012. So far I've had no success... I think the offsetting thing is that I have no work experience. In High school, I focused all my attention on my studies as my dad suggested and I made the foolish mistake of not getting a job when I was in high school. Then I went to an art school but had to withdraw due to a low GPA (I kept failing this one in particular class and it affected my GPA). I moved in with my brother and after I got adjusted, I started looking for work. I was having no luck at all. I almost got one from a friend who ran a business but his business tanked before I could even start. As I admitted in another topic, I have no friends (the few I did have moved away) and I never had the luck of meeting new ones. My dad doesn't know anyone either. I tried going to a temp agency but they required experience to sign up with them. So I'm just at a loss. Luckily, I never let go of my drawing passion and kept pursuing my practices and had a small commission business going but sadly, it's not steady...

At this rate as I'm sure the town I'm in got hit pretty bad by the economy drop, I don't think I'll ever find a job. I've heard about stripping and I hear you don't need any experience and they hire just about anyone. I never saw myself doing that kind of work but now, it doesn't sound so bad. At least I'll have a job and I would treat it as just that (I wouldn't do extras and I don't do drugs/drink) And it'd only be temporary while I look for work and continue my drawing practices (I want to pursue a career in animation/character design). But I'm just not sure... I'm pretty shy though I'm much better than I used to be. And even though I'm not big and muscular, I'm sure there could be an audience for someone like me. But again, I'm just not sure. I just really wanted to talk about this with someone since I have no one to talk with about this.

Anyway, I'm sorry for the long post. I guess I just want to hear opinions/advice. Do you think temporarily stripping would be a good idea?

If you're comfortable with it I don't see any reason not to. Might not look too good on a resume though. icon_confused.gif

I dunno. I rarely go to the strip clubs, but when I have, it's obvious that some guys get lots of tips and some don't. (I went once this year, my date wanted to go.) It appears that, as well as being hot, you have to be pretty outgoing and flirt a lot to get the tips. Would you be cool with letting strangers run their hands over your body? Smile and encourage them? It can be exhiliarating to be worshiped that way, but a bit of a leap for a shy guy.

@Mike ~ I know it wouldn't look good on a resume but my plan was to try to do this in secrecy while I continue the job hunt for a normal job.

@MindGarden ~ I'd have to get used to the constant touching I suppose and even though I'm not the most social person in the world, guess this would help force me to be more social. I'm not that bothered if I don't make a ton of money in it but any money is better than nothing.

@Woodsman ~ Even if it's just temporary and you don't get caught up in the "extra" stuff the job presents...?

My stripping career led to my prostitution career, which led to my meth career, my criminal career, my rehab career, my bankruptcy career, my homeless career, my return to prostitution career, my deceitfulness career, my lack of morality career, my return to meth career, my stripping career and finally my career in politics.
    Probably best to avoid it.

    Two things can happen.

1- You will be making lots of money for 6 months, then you will find it hard to quit because mosts jobs you can apply for will only provide you with a fraction of what you can make stripping. However most strip clubs are frequented by the same old customers so they will get sick of you eventually and you won't be making as much money compared to your first month. At this point you had been spoiled into making lots of cash so you start looking for other options.

Then, certain offers you refused in the past will become more tempting : "private dancing", "porn solo", "escort services". Eventually you'll end up doing gay porn full time.

2 - You make barely any money and get really frustrated. Other dancers make more than you do, like waaaay more and no matter how hard you try to market yourself there's only one customer in the whole place that really likes you but he barely pays. Gradually you become more upset and frustrated over what a bad idea this whole stripping thing was.

OP, have you ever ask yourself if you're qualified to be a stripper? Think about the guys doing it and then at yourself...

If you have the confidence, go for it, nothing wrong with doing it to support yourself until you get closer to your long term goals. It's honest work.

Pretty sure bearer of bad news has a crush on jonny Mia, always talking about how hot Johnny is, his sexual activity and how all that isn't important, as well as how afraid he himself is of having sex and frustrated he is for not having it.

    Just a neutral observation

you apparently aren't paying much attention, dude. it's the OTHER way around. i don't care for the idiot at all and would probably hurt the guy if i ever came across him.

Nope pretty sure I always read how you haven't had sex and would be afraid to act on it given the opportunity and you always talk about how good looking jonny is and all the sex he has and then try to put him down for doing everything you're not but wish you were

icon_confused.gif i've NEVER said that guy was good looking and think he's very annoying.

why the fuck would i want to be like him? once again, do you even pay attention to what goes on the board? he's one of the guys in here that has issues and takes it out on other people. quit projecting your feelings for him onto me.

and i don't know where in your right mind you would think i would be envious towards him and his sexual relations. i would like to have sex with someone on a constant basis that i like or maybe once in awhile

possible one or two people that i KNOW and can trust. you giving that loser credit that he doesn't need. don't feed the trolls.

You should really go back and read what you say, I believe you really envy jonny and deep down want him deep inside you. The way you constantly talk about him, seek him out in posts and go back and forth with him, I truly believe you love him

you must be drunk or high or something.

what YOU need to do is reread this thread and others and see who envies who. your boy, jonny, literally goes out the way to fuck with people and i'm one of those people. if you're willing to open your eyes, he harasses MANY people on this forum and goes about starting a lot of shit. that's why his ass got banned in the first place.

hell, let's use this thread for example. you see how i simply replied to the OP's thread. do you see how mr. jonny suddenly comes out of nowhere quoting me or attacking me ready to start a flame war, ruining someone else's thread. he even attacked the OP. that's all he does. talk about himself and attacks people. i don't know why you're trying to convince me of something that ain't there or trying to make an unlikeable asshole likeable.

breh, if it were up to me, i would ban that dude permanently. he's one reason why your site is straight up shit.

You could have just as easily stopped but continued to respond with response after response after response. To me that shows you like the interaction with him, like crave it and deep down you really want him so you continue to spar with him

" i have a low tolerance for people like those. i see them in the gym all the time and they're the type of dudes that i'm just waiting to get into a confrontation with or ready to tell them to go fuck themselves. i've dealt with people like that all my life so you better believe that whenever i come across people like those, i'm the first one to have hostile feelings towards them until they prove otherwise"

There you have it, you see a guy in the gym and think you know him and just wait for the opportunity for a confrontation, just like here. You are even hostile first as you stated until they prove to you... What is that. It's pent up sexual frustration that you have that you relieve by the verbal sparing, you're really having sex with jonny, which is what you really want

See there you go. Why is he showing off by doing so much weight? If he's that big he needs to lift that amount of weight to challenge his muscle and shock it into growth and the grunting is often the result of an intense workout not done for attention. As a matter of fact it's the opposite, someone in "the zone" often is not aware of what others notice of them when they're going about their business.

And are you sure he wasn't there first and you and your boys showed up after and planted it right where he was doing his thing?
