According to the muscle and fitness magazine I was reading on the plane this morning the homosexual genetic disposition won't disappear from the population because....

The heterosexual female siblings of gay guys inherit genes which make them hyper-sexual.

I've got two (half) sisters just entering highschool. I'm slightly worried....icon_confused.gif

So to all the guys that have sisters are they so inclined?

I don't have a relationship with my sister - she's a hot mess! But I've been told she's been married many times. Most people I know that have been married many times do enjoy a hyper-sexual lifestyle. So I'd assume yes on this one.

I'd love to weigh in on this discussion because I find it pretty interesting, but I really have no idea what you're asking in the OP.

Does having a hypersexual sister make you gay? That sounds like a slam against my sister.

My bad I need to clarify

It was basically a study as to why gay genes don't disappear from the population if they offer an evolutionary disadvantage.

The same genes that are linked with homosexuality are often inherited by female siblings of gay guys.

The genes make girls hyper sexual, they breed enough to make up for their brothers that don't and thus the apparent gay gene lives on.

I have three younger sisters. Two of whom have two children each. The third married a guy with three kids from previous marriages and decided not to have children of her own. I also have two kids of my own. So, in my case at least, I guess the genes live on.

Certainly not true in my sisters. I would not consider them hyper-sexual. I also don't necessarily agree with the assertion that gay genes offer an evolutionary disadvantage. I would contend it could be a great way of evolution controlling the population of a species, and since the human population has healthy grow maybe the gene will become more prevalent.

Besides genetics likely makes up only a part of the puzzle, with the release of hormones by the mother when the child is developing in utero also having an impact.

Before I legally divorced my family. I had a Pa, a vessel, a Sister who looks like a bull dyke, but she is a breeding homosexual, with 5 daughters. Makes me smile, another storey.

There was 4 boys in the family, now there is 3. I was the first born of the first born son, of an Aristocrat, thus I to was born with title too. All my siblings below me, are all either gay, or a bisexual, and it is only the bisexual who is a breeder out of the gays, and an Only Fag in the Village; me.

Oh just because all my former siblings are either homosexual, or bisexual. This dose not mean we ever had a strong bond. Just as there is no guarantee, four str8 brothers would have a strong bond.

So for all you guys, who are the only gay in the family. Don't think it would of been any better, if they was all gay like you, it "tis a myth, just like the one: the world would be a happier, safer place, if it was ruled by women. icon_rolleyes.gif

PS, I would say that my once sister, was sex crazed, as a young girl. I may of started to have sex at 5, because I was sexual abused, and used. But I do recall her going after the boys with such vigor, as a young girl. Still she looks like a bull dyke.

My sister and her husband are older than I am, late 30s. When I was in high school he treated me like my brothers, as a friend, even though the age difference was major then. Since I've been here in USA, once when I visited, he told me he is most comfortable talking to me because I live across the ocean and am out of the family over-sharing of information. When they were visiting me here over Christmas he and I went to the gym alone one day, and I got a major earful, including him asking me if he thought my sister would cheat on him (after being together like 20 years) because she's always been oversexed, and is getting more and more so. At the time I was more trying NOT to listen or to divert the conversation and saying things like geluksvogel and stuff just to try and get OUT of that conversation. Now it makes some sense (but I still don't want to think about it! icon_eek.gif ).

LOL. He may be a lucky guy from an outsiders perspective but it really seems like it was an 'issue'. I'd say this is where open communications is so important. I don't have sisters but fit the end of a long run of boys phenomenon.
