I just read this article below about cloud storage. Not real technical, sorta your granny's introduction to the cloud. But it made me wonder how many guys here are using the cloud.

My husband & I use iCloud to share info, but only for our calendar items, contacts, and to-do list. I won't put my photos, documents & email there, the security doesn't satisfy me. I back-up locally, I don't rely on the cloud as my primary storage device.

But iCloud for the things I want us to share, immediately in real time, without having to do a manual sync step between our devices, is great. If he enters a calendar item I see it, too. If I enter or cancel a to-do item his devices show the same thing, and likewise when he makes changes. And no more "Do you have Frank's cell number on your phone?" Our phones are mirror images at all times, what he has I have, and vice versa, automatically, and within seconds of any change.

And we've got 7 devices (or will again, as soon as I replace my stolen iPad in the next week or 2): 2 iMacs, 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, and 1 MacBook Pro. So that constantly keeping in sync the key info we need to share across every device we use is a godsend.

If you're using android it's hard to avoid using google's cloud.
