DBomb129 saidLube feels the best. Unfortunately, I worry about how much I'm using.I use a Fleshjack Icejack (unreal sensation) and have the same worry. So I make my own lube.
25 grams glycerin or, lately, propylene glycol
1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum
10 grams polysorbate (aka tween)
170 grams water
You can buy the exotic named ingredients from Amazon. The quantities are entirely ad hoc; nothing scientific just trial and error.
Add them in the order given, specifically the xanthan gum must go directly after the first ingredient (e.g., propylene glycol), otherwise it's difficult to get it to dissolve and mix well. Mix the first two then add the other two. The polysorbate is little waxy pellets; it needs heat to dissolve so I make it in a pyrex measuring cup that's in a pan of hot water on the stove. Then I use an electric hand mixer with just one beater to mix it well. Use some squeeze bottle for application; e.g. a honey bear or a plastic squeeze mustard bottle. The new C&H agave syrup squeeze bottle looks like an excellent candidate with its no drip spout.
Makes about a cup or less and lasts for many weeks. It's white and looks like cum.
Updated lube recipe. Read the above instructions in case I leave anything out.
3/4 teaspoon xanthan gum
2 teaspoons J-Lube
2 teaspoons propylene glycol
1 cup hot water
The magic ingredient that I heard about that makes a huge difference is the J-Lube:http://www.amazon.com/Jorvet-J0109-J-Lube-Obstetrics-10-Ounce/dp/B006G2S17A
J-Lube is incredibly slippery, which for me is crucial. (Although I'm cut my dick is extremely sensitive even though, according to southbeach, it should be numb.)
Like the xanthan gum the J-Lube powder does NOT dissolve in water, or takes a lot of work to get it to dissolve in plain water. So again I use the propylene glycol as a wetting or dispersing agent which works perfectly. I measure the J-Lube into a 2 cup Pyrex cup, then the xanthan gum, then add the propylene glycol. Then I use an electric hand mixer with 1 beater in it and mix them. While I'm doing that with one hand with the other I pour in the water, which I've heated so that it's steaming hot (1 minute in my microwave). Mix well with the mixer. You'll need to pinch the shaft of the beater with your thumb and finger because the lube is very goopy and crawls up the shaft.
I didn't realize that polysorbate is a detergent and thus damages the Fleshjack sleeves so I don't use it, and it's certainly not necessary with J-Lube in the recipe.
The xanthan gum isn't a requirement. I like my lube thick. Without the xanthan gum it's very watery. You can adjust how much you add to suit you.
There's a good description of J-Lube here but his procedure for mixing it involves boiling the mixture, but when you use the propylene glycol boiling is completely unnecessary (and dangerous).http://www.anus.org/SEX/jlube.html
If you like your lube slippery, it doesn't get any better than this. Although it is stringy; you get long strands between the squeeze bottle and wherever you squirted it. The xanthan gum seems to reduce that some.
