Given that I never ever ever would read the dailycock.com, I had to read this one.

Absolutely totally outrageous. Maybe the guy was trying not to fart (that sure wouldn't be my course of action). Or maybe he was a cyclist and had a nice tight 'clinched" ass.

I don't have a punishment that fits for something like this happening under the color of authority. Police state? Hell yes!

Unfortunately, not unbelievable. I hope the ACLU will get into this one. Several people need to loose licenses, face punishment, pay Eckart's bills and generally be made examples of.

Maybe for the cop(s) that caused all of this ... a semi public ass fukin in front of his 25 closest beer and football buddies plus the remainder of the police department by a horny homosexual top with a uniform fetish.

Oh and no lube. He doesn't deserve lube.

    The initial doctor was correct.

Courts cannot order a doctor's to do any procedure. I am sure that the initial court order was not specific to the procedures done and all of the doctors / staff are on the hook for what they did to this patient.

We may not have the full story. And of course privacy rights preclude the medical story from giving their side of it.

Also the choice of testing is questionable. If there was a questions of a foreign body a CT scan with contrast could have yielded the same information.

He doesn't have to worry about being billed for the procedures. The 2 doctors should worry about loosing their licenses.

"Doctors and nurses working under US military orders have been complicit in the abuse of terrorism suspects, a new independent US report says.

The study says medical professionals helped design, enable and participated in "torture and cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment" of detainees.

The report was compiled by an independent panel of military, health, ethics and legal experts."

As this crowd ought to worry about losing their licenses.

Not all doctors are saints, apparently.

They certainly should and it shouldn't stop with just that.

Suits against the hospital are still pending. I wonder if the doctors who did this have committed ethical crimes? They found nothing, after all those tests, and still performed THREE enemas? That were still negative? On a guy who just ran a stop sign? And I also read that he owes the hospital $6000 for their services! I guess if he ran a red light they would have dissected him. And Right Wingers say police in the US aren't out of control. icon_rolleyes.gif

At least they said that the examiner and the officer's licenses are under review. That is somewhat settling about this...
