I'm sorry to hear about your circumstance, you are going to have to give him time to be upset.

Which of you is the one with HIV?

If it's him, continue to reach out to him. He may be in a serious emotional state and many people who have learned about HIV+ status have committed suicide. Urge him to go WITH YOU to an HIV services organization and get him connected to the help he needs. He need not go through his struggle alone.

If you're the one with HIV, I urge you to connect with an HIV services organization and get the help you need. Also, please feel free to PM me if I can be of any emotional support.

I have lived with HIV for over 29 years now and I'm in the best shape of my life. HIV does not have to be the end of anybody's life.

Call a line for advice, and a friend or family of him to check on him (you dont have to give them details) and give your bf some space, he has to deal with the bad news now, you will have time to make peaces with him later.
