What REAL, ACTUAL, LIVING, INDIVIDUAL HUMANS would you invite, or like to have, in the RJ forums to improve the various conversations and debates?

What would they add that isn't already here?
Should (are there any now?) women be part of RJ?

I would like to invite all of the celebrities that have made PSA's for Equality, anti-bullying, "If you can play you can play", and any OUT celebrities....
Not sure about women on RJ....straight or Lesbian.

thebearerofbadnews saidman.... nevermind people. if you want to know what RJ really needs, it needs to get out of 1998 and move to 2013 or 2014 with a REAL web forum layout. wtf is this? like the web forum layout sucks. i never seen an outdated web forum before. i know of web forums that have way more features than this shit. the people that seem to be able to manage being in here with this outdated shit are the ones that seem to be in here for more than just the web forum though...

...so the vintage of the "technology" of the site is more important than the people and is, in part, dictating the content?
If it was to be redesigned what would it do or look like? examples?...I know a mobile app would be nice....

Not sure as to new or invite.
There are plenty of amazing guys here.
Just when I'm about to give up on this site I meet a new one and my mind is blown yet again.
The thing is, these guys do not post in the forums, or not enough.

I agree in part that there are TRULY AMAZING guys here....but I question if it that they don't post (enough) or if we just aren't looking where they are posting? Not everyone is into politics, "pop culture", flamewars or "the guy above" threads....really.

Oh, I am looking, sadly they aren't posting on RJ anymore.
Sucks keeping up with so many blogs/vlogs.

The guys from Logo's A-List would certainly be interesting but, as has been said, we have plenty of interesting guys here already. We seem to be struggling to figure out what we want to say to each other to sublimate the fact that we really just want to bonk each other.

I'm disappointed I can't find more pics of Rodiney's bad English.

Sad to say, I don't think bringing in new people will improve things. Look what happens on sitcoms when they introduce new characters after being on the air for several seasons. icon_lol.gificon_confused.gif

I disagree....I think the original premise is still solid, needed and not well served elsewhere. It feels to me that the original premise has been "diluted" to appeal to an ever broader spectrum of gay men....many of which have no real claim to anything remotely related to being a "jock" in any sense of the word. I understand the desire to be inclusive of all gay men, as we all need to put some physical activity into our lives for general health. I think the "JOCK" part gets lost in the invitation... and instead this is just becoming "Real Gays"...there is no divorcing gay and jock, but it seems that the gay is trampling the jock parts of the site.icon_rolleyes.gif

You can't force people to post in sports forums.
The problem is that every possible topic has been covered in the area of lifting, exercise, ball games, sports of every kind. There's very little left to say, and what remains (if anything) is instructional but hardly promotes conversation. Where do you go in a chat after you've compared reps and sets and supplements?

That's why I originally asked......who would you invite to enliven the conversation? I get that you can't separate and segregate the gay from the jock parts of our lives and the basics are not gonna change on reps, sets, supps, etc.....but perspectives added and discussed....that's where we go.

You can blame the site owners. They're the ones that changed this site into a generic gay social networking site.
