Middle Eastern Guys - Why are most of them Tops?

Does anyone understand why Middle Eastern guys (Arabs and Iranians) are mostly tops?

As a bottom living in the Middle East, I am happy about this phenomenon, but I am always curious to know why this is. When I hear bottoms in the USA complain that there are not enough tops to go around, I smile and think "Gosh we certainly don't have that problem here!".

Any thoughts on why this is?

(EDIT: Egyptian guys don't seem to fit into this general trend. This is from my own observation based on the dating websites when I was in Egypt on several occasions, and also from speaking to an Egyptian top who said that bottoms far outnumber the tops in Egypt).

I suspect that the Middle Eastern culture does not allow for the (admitting to the) flexibility that America does...at least not on the surface.

I'd bet there are more vers/bttms around you than they will admit to being.

I thought everybody was crazy about tops shouldn't you be happy about it?

Machismo is very high in the Middle East, so I'm guessing it's not so much that they have no interest in bottoming, but a reluctance to admitting to it. You can find the same phenomenon here in the U.S., depending on where you are. Tops can be like homophobes....the ones who protest the loudest are sometimes the ones who want it the most. You just have to grab them by the chin and put it to him.
