Over the last few weeks I've had problems lifting heavy weights with my left arm because my bicep feels really painful. I'm debating whether to go to the doctor. Or should I just rest it for a while?

I'd doctor it. You might get some delicious drugs that you can sell to schoolkids

Don't play wait and see with your body. Go to the doctor. Don't they still make house calls in England?

Mc -that was one of your nicest replys! I thought you would say masturbate with the right arm then.

Agreed Red see a doc- get some good PT.

    Feel better!

I had a minor operation on my right biceps about ten years ago. Every time I worked it hard, I'd feel like it was bruised for a week afterward. I'm accustomed to muscle soreness, but this was different. I started to notice a little discoloration on the inside of my arm, like an actual bruise. It was some kind of vascular problem, and I'm so glad that I went to the doctor about it instead of suffering, assuming it would get better with time.

Your case is probably nothing like mine, but you never know. A doctor might know, though. Put down your cake, turn off the Martika music and make an appointment.

But if he masturbates with the other hand, he won't be able to drive to the doctor. Like, duh! ;)

I always say go to the doctor. I thought I had a pulled groin muscle and ended up having to go to the hospital during a marathon with a broken hip.

Go and see your doctor you lazy mare.

Though I expect he'll tell you it's old age and you will have to get used to aches and pains.

So, I went to the doctor today and it appears I have a strained bicep muscle. My rather overweight doctor seemed to take great pleasure in telling me that I'll have to rest it for a few weeks. No weight-lifting on that arm. Hmmm. I can do other exercise like swimming. How annoying.

Sorry you can't lift. Ever try kickboxing? If you stay away from the impact portions, it may still be ok for you.
