Whos heard it? I think vocally her voice is amazing and she sounds so good. Not going to lie I've been a die hard fan of hers since 1998 and this might be one of the first times her voice gave me chills... It's nice to hear something slower and more raw... Check it out when you get the chance

but she never says perfume. icon_sad.gif
Still, I'm a long time fan of Britney. She came off so clean and professional when it first began, then she got sexy - hotter - grittier - into her leave Britney alone phase - and now she's posturing to become the next die hard diva like Cher.

She does say the word perfume in the song.
She uses it in reference to 'marking her territory' on her man.

Anyway not dissing her personally or her fans of course but the fact that everyone knows she lip syncs all the time, especially with the media release of her real voice and how she sounded, I'm surprised people still see her as a 'singer'.
She's more an entertainer than a singer since, and I'm saying this not to be disrespectful, but she really can't sing that well.

I'll only believe she's a singer when I hear a legit and recent live performance where she doesn't lip sync and we can hear her real voice.
I have a couple of her songs on my ipod but I wouldn't go pay for a concert just yet.

In saying all this I'm glad she's doing well though, it seems like lately she's really pulled herself together and has come out the other end of her struggles stronger and better as a person.
She always seemed like a very sweet person in real life and so now that the media is finally calming down on her, I'm glad that reputation is coming back again slowly.

Honestly it's average and I was disappointed because Sia usually writes better stuff.

Britney can do decent ballads. Everytime and Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know are good but this isn't up there.

A lot of performers make it far despite weak vocals. I think it makes them rely on other strengths to stand out. For Britney, it's been the kittenish Femme Fatale persona, which Gaga or Adele would not be able to pull off. In that sense, she reminds me of Janet Jackson. Ultra feminine, in ways that powerhouse vocalists, with all their growling and note slaying, aren't.

Back in her day, Whitney came close, she was good looking and the best singer.

Whitney never came off as submissive. She was a force and she topped every song she sang. It's just another flavor, perhaps finer and rarer, but still a whole different type. Janet on the other hand comes off as submissive, and that can just as relatable, and just as entertaining, when paired with the right music.

Can't bitches stay on topic... geez icon_rolleyes.gif Anyway I expected much more, it being a sia written song, but that was my fault. It's ok, nothing groundbreaking, then again it is Britney lol

Her voice? You mean the computer right? There are tuning artifacts all over that vocal track.
