Hey so just today i was talking to my friend about armpit shaving. This guy we know shaves them quite often and he made fun of him. What do you guys think? Is it hot having it or not, or is it (gasp) gay to shave them off?

I try to trim mine with a razor, mess up, and just shave it all off.

Why would you want to do that? It's like shaving off your eye brows. No real use....icon_rolleyes.gif

I trim mine with the clipper whenever I wear a tank top. It can get hairy and I don't like it.

I don't think hairy armpits are attractive.

Normally I would not judge anyone for their manscaping habits but shaving the armpit hair is...so...NO. Maybe it's because I like pits and scent-mark my guys like a kitten...

Yeah, shave your armpits, put on some pretty lingerie and a bit of eye shadow. Oh and don't forget to cut your dick off.

I trim mine with electric clippers. Shaving with a razor is bad news. Constant moisture, friction, etc.. leads to razor bumps and ingrown hairs.

Ignore the naysayers. If you have hairy sasquatch pits and you're physically active, try it. You'll feel more dry and you'll save money from using less deodorant.

I shave mine just a little bit, because it helps keep sweat and odor down.

I've noticed a lot of straight guys trim and shave their body. Especially in the crotch. I guess they got inspired from watching porn. So that means it's ok for gay guys to trim/shave without being called effeminate now. icon_lol.gif

shaving your armpits tends to reduce pit stains/sweating from that area. I tend to sweat a lot so I shave them.

Make fun of me if you like, but my shirts are happier this way and so am I.

I notice that a lot of guys at my gym shave their armpits, and I'm surprised at that too.

I think it looks great on men with lots of body hair but not so good on smooth men.

I love my armpit hair lol... Most things shouldn't be shaved. If the hair is too long buzz it, but use a guard and leave some hair.

A man who shaves his armpits looks like a chick. End of story. However, trimming them is fine. It's like taming a wild forest...and it's a tad more hygenic. And if you sweat a lot it also helps to trim them down a bit. But a man def needs hair there.

I shave bi-weekly in the summer when I sweat the most so I don't get those embarrassing stains on my shirts. During the cold weather months, I shave them less.

I think shaved armpits are very un-natural although I understand why some guys shave them. Hairy pits are extremely sexy ( especially on muscular guys), definitely adds to that masculine look! icon_wink.gif

So many guys shave their legs at the gym. Unless you're a swimmer or bodybuilder I don't get it. I guess whatever makes you happy.

Shave if you want, but your reasoning is not logical. Body hair creates a tent-like effect and creates air space between your skin and clothing, hence allowing air to circulate. Shaving eliminates that airflow. It's all in your head dude.

Good grief. There are better things to worry about. If you live long enough, sometimes you gotta cut it back. Shaving is as good a method as any. Something's wrong when you look like you're smuggling poodles under there. If you've got wax building up on those hairs, get thee a razor, stat.

I dunno. I suppose our ancestors naturally kept their pit hair in check by the efforts of small birds who would peck at it while they were swinging on vines between the trees.
