We are out to most people, but is there someone you would never tell anyone you are gay?

Some people do scare me. Extreme anti-gay people for example and extremist nutjobs. In some countries where they outlaw homosexuality as well.

When I came out to friends and family, I was surprised at how almost everyone accepted it with very little or no problem at all. At least half of the people I've met at work over the years wouldn't care, but I keep my private life to myself because there's still many who would be nasty about it. Especially the older men.

That's ridiculous. I'll never let anyone have that power over me. I'd tell anyone who asks me, and mention past relationships by gender; if asked. Why hideicon_question.gif

Well I'm not gay, but if I was, I would probably never, ever tell my dad nor a few of my friends, simply because they're extremely homophobic.

I'm sure some people have their suspicions, whether they dwell on them or not is up to them.

I came out to my family and my close friends, so I think I am pretty much done with coming out. I don't see why anyone else should know about my personal life. If I get asked by someone who has reasonable grounds to ask such questions, then I would tell them the truth. With that said, I might not feel so safe about coming out to anyone that asks if I lived in a different country.

My grandparents, while from what I know of my family I wouldn't foresee anyone having any issues or at least anything major I just don't think their reaction would be good, call it paranoia. I had a sex dry spell that lasted from 2006-2012 and an aunt flat out asked me if I was gay since every time I visit family I say "no" when they ask if I have a girlfriend or a woman in my life. I'm not lying when I say no at since I am bi, so woohoo?

Yup and when it comes to it I'll cross that bridge. I've only told a few friends and coworkers I'm bi but if I did have a boyfriend I would bring him to a work function in a heart beat. It's their problem if they do not like it, though thankfully I have no one I work with who comes off vaguely homophobic at all and we actually have a gay married E-7 in our flight.

Any clue how? There was a story in the news about a guy here in Georgia who was kicked out of his home, had his vehicle taken by his dad and step mother, they emptied his accounts, and threw all his shit on the rode just because step mommy dearest correctly guessed he was gay.

Only a couple of best friends who are also gay know about me. Other than that, I don't want to hurt my family. I'm scared to other friends know for fear that things will get awkward, and I can never relate to them naturally any more. icon_redface.gif

If you're straight then why are you even here?

Get the Fuck out! We don't need fucking breeders!

You need to shut the fuck up. What makes you any different from a homophobe?

Anybody is welcome as long as they behave themselves. So, maybe you should leave.
