    When I was a kid my parents still LOVED them. That was the music my parents played most, and now I play ABBA all the time and have always loved them. It would be great to see them together.

    A dead reunion might have been slightly, erm, off-key.

    Seriously though, their harmonies are almost unsurpassed.

    I saw them live as well when they played in Toronto in 1979. It would amazing to see them again if they do another concert.

    Oh man, this bring the memories and their songs. I was living in Santiago, Chile going to school and remember their first albums and the songs. I remember hearing them in the radio and asked my Dad to take me to the store to buy their albums.

    * The Winter Takes it All
    * Money, Money, Money
    * Chiquita
    * Mama Mia
    * I have a Dream
    * Voulezvous
    * Dancing Queen
    * Fernando
    * I am Just
    * Me and I

    ...just to name a few.

    sunjbill saidSomething about their harmonies in SOS always haunted me in a good way, my favorite of their songs:

    SOS is amazing! I had never seen the video though! Thanks for that! Winner Takes It All is a crowd pleaser too. My personal favorite is Take A Chance On Me.

    Agnetha's latest recording is, in my humble opinion, her finest solo effort since "Eyes Of A Woman."

    Yes, their music really is great.

    Funny thing is, I'd completely forgotten about them until I saw the 1994 movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

    I've always envied Stig Anderson for his first name; I'd rather be Stig than the stupid first name that I got.

    I've been playing my ABBA playlist non-stop on my iTunes since I first read this thread yesterday. One of my FBs who stopped by last night laughed and said, "Funny - all bottoms love ABBA." I was tempted to throw him down and rape his ass and say, "Now, do you love ABBA, B I T C H?!" but restrained myself. He texted me about an hour later and apologized for the comment.

    Super Trouper is the greatest album ever made.
    They reunited to sing a song together the other day "the way old friends do"...but a reunion with a tour and new material will never happen.
    Their words not mine.

    In 2005 Madonna sent a letter to bjorn asking permission to sample gimme gimme gimme! He heard the hung up demo and loved it and for the first time i think they let someone sample their music.
    "Madonna has been on top for over 20 years we respect her and admire her".
