I am counting down the days until Britney's new album comes out " Britney Jean" on December 3rd...

Between Work Bitch( 1st single ) and Perfume( 2nd single) I was pretty pleased with what I was hearing.... Vocally perfume is the best she has sounded or one of the best song that show off her vocals in years...

A couple weeks ago " passenger" leaked and was quickly removed . It was a really great mid tempo with more amazing vocals. Didn't get to listen to it much but it was really good.

Today " Alien" leaked, which is the first track that opens up the album... It's been removed pretty much everywhere on the net... It's the one she did with William Orbit and it's honestly amazing... Another mid tempo but such a different sound from Britney... Parts of of we're hypnotizing .

What I'm trying to say from my opinion from what I heard so far is this album is going to be great... Songs sound so different from past sounds.. So much more emotion... Awesome vocals ... Not as dance oriented( the ones I heard) .

This album even though it's not getting much promotion could possibly be( don't know yet) one of her best/ critically acclaimed albums. I know she's written on every song and it's a very personal album.

Check it out. It drops Decemebrr 3rd... To the non Britney fans give it a chance bc so far it sounds very different from her past stuff and I think it's great!

If people want to like/support Britney Spears records thats fine, but talking about the quality of her vocals is baffling... it's like believing in the easter bunny, or not knowing that professional wrestling is scripted.

If you want to complement her vocals, thank the sound engineers that spend hours reigning her voice into melodies via autotune and melodyne. She cannot sing.

To piggyback off what you said, i'm AMAZED that she's still in the industry. She hasn't sung a word live in YEARS. And every note on her new shit is completely altered digitally. She's not only a robot mentally, but she sounds like one too. A "popstar" is someone who sings by profession. She doesn't even do that...she lip syncs. Therefore, she's pretty much a drag queen because they do the same.

I kind of agree, it's almost admirable she's still in the game at this point. I mean she's terrible, but...... she's still a main stay in pop culture. That in and of itself is kind of impressive.

It's not that impressive. Britney Spears is a brand. If your name gets to a point where you have that much name recognition its actually hard to screw it up. She isn't doing a thing. It's just suits managing a name.

I think it's supposed to be some kind of tip of the hat to Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. I could be wrong.

So the reviews are starting to come in and not very positive for the most part, but seem to be on point.

Honestly, I'm a huge fan of her songs but am I the only one who thinks that Work bitch and Perfume are her worst songs ever?

I always say that she is the living proof that you can produce a hit song with bad lyrics, but seriously, the lyrics of Work Bitch are so terrible it's impossible to listen to it. Although the trend nowadays is to make club-friendly music and it does sound that way.

Until she does a gayboy/dragqueen move on the last bridge. (Work ... work... work..)

    And then I die.

∆∆∆ This is soooo on target. I'm absolutely embarrassed for the musical taste of most gay men. They have the same taste in music as a 13 year old girl who's never heard real talent in her life.

I will say this for Britney though.....she's sweet as she can be. I hung out with her several years ago when she was doing a VH1 special in New Orleans. She wanted me to give her a temporary tattoo to try out a new idea she had for a permanent tattoo. But she was being constantly harassed by the crew with questions every five seconds so she wasn't able to do it. She was focused on me as if I was much more important than her and asked me lots of questions about myself. You quickly forget your talking to a celebrity because she's so down-to-Earth.

    +ONE MILLION

The topic has come up with my gay friends, who explained that the gays are more often sensitive, depressed, and need that sassy diva-style "I don't care" attitude in their music to bury the pain, lol. Think "serenity now".

I heard that her Vegas show at Caesar's will be all lip sync. I'd rather watch a Cirque du Soleil show.

You are embarrassed for other gays like Britney Spears, yet you admit to listening to Marilyn Manson?

He is basically the exact same thing just marketed to a different demographic.
