    Approximations...

    half a mango
1/2 cup berries (usually go with strawberries and blueberries)
3/4 cup fat free plain or vanilla yogurt
    skim milk or pineapple juice
    1/2 banana (optional)
    some vanilla whey protein (optional)

for a crunchier snack you can eat with a spoon, omit the milk/juice to make a thicker fruity yogurt and add slivers of FiberOne cereal
    __________

My friend makes this "smoothie" for her post-exam recuperation:

    1/4 bag frozen strawberries
    1/4 bag frozen peaches
    1 cup rum
    some peach schnaps to taste
(blend all the above and keep in freezer until ready)
when ready, place in blender and fill the rest of the blender up with ice cream or sherbert

rockmelon, peaches, orange juice, ice cubs, about a table spoon of lime juice

put peeled rockmelon, peaches, orange juice and ice in a blender, blend until smooth then add the lime juice.

Its really yummy, especially if you use fresh in season fruit.

samerphx saidWow Pattison ;-) I might want to try Mighty Berry... Sound delicious.

Why thanks. I like this one. I try to avoid one with to much pineapple, and melons, as they = a lot of sugar.

In the summer I want mine to be cold and thick like a milkshake so I freeze 1/2 cup of Carnation Evaporated Milk; it comes nonfat, low fat, and regular. I use Glad 1/2 cup reusable plastic snap lid bowls. 1 can fills 3 of the 1/2 cup things.

I also freeze the bananas; peel them, break them into 2 pieces or more, wrap in plastic wrap and put in a plastic bag and into the freezer.

I use frozen fruit from the grocery store freezer section; about 50 grams.

50 grams of any frozen juice concentrate, undiluted; my favorite is Dole Mango, Peach, and Orange. http://www.dole.com/Products/Juice

Liquid can be yogurt, buttermilk or Almond Breeze. Buttermilk gives it a kick from its salt.

The Carnation evaporated milk is the magic ingredient; it makes it nice and rich.

On Gold has some decent tasting Casein protein flavors. Totally functional if you fact just add water.
