"Politicians in Australia's most populous state could be breath-tested for alcohol before voting on laws after a series of late-night incidents that have embarrassed the center-left government." ...

" "Breath test this mob," said a front page headline in Sydney's mass-selling Daily Telegraph newspaper. State police minister Matt Brown was dumped from his portfolio in September after allegedly "dirty" dancing in his underwear over the chest of a female colleague after a drunken post-budget office party."

Somehow that does not surprise me. On our truncated trip to Italy in 2006 we spent a lot of time with the Aussies and Kiwis. Boy can they drink. icon_eek.gif

Our Premier was actually charged with DUI while on vacation in Hawaii years ago.

So long as it's just not the Aussies that get tested too, and Australians get tested too!

People are showing up drunk for work and somehow no one can tell?

So if someone gets drunk at a party it automatically means that person gets drunk before work?

What the.....who came up with that lame-brain equation?

For the record, BC's premier was, whether or not on holidays, driving a vehicle while drunk.

Thats OK they are left wing. But alcohol is no excuse for making bad decisions. But they are left wing. So long as they don't just target the Aussies, and treat the Australians the same.

Now NSW is broke too, and the rest of the land has too support them; being drunk is no excuse for this. Yet our last right wing PM left out country with a deficit, and now the left wing PM, is squandering it.
