Just curious as to whether or not most of you wear undershirts. If you do wear them, what style do you prefer? I wear A-shirts (sleeveless, tank style) under both dress shirts and casual ones. Any other guys who like to wear them?

White V-neck T's. I wear them to the office under shirts and polos, when it's colder here or to sleep. Need my pits covered and prefer extra room at the neck.

I only wear undershirts for work. My job is very physical and undershirts help a lot!

    There's a new one icon_rolleyes.gif

I only wear undershirts when wearing a polo or dress shirt. By 'undershirt', I am referring to a plain white or black t-shirt. Not a tank top.

Haha same, I think it's older men who usually wear them. My dad always harassed me about wearing them that I grew up hating them .

I only have a couple that I wear as tank tops in the summer.

I confess to wearing compression shirts under clothes because they are like spanx for men. They suck everything in.

I know most of you don't have that problem. I am working on resolving that for myself.

I wear crew neck undershirts all the time. I just don't feel comfortable without them. I like the soft cotton against my skin.

I wear a white v-neck under a dress shirt...my office is on the cool side year round. Plus it makes a white dress shirt look whiter when you have white underneath. With the v-neck, it's not visible even if I skip the neck tie.

That just means your shirts stink and get sweat stains

I wear undershirts probably about half the time. sometimes with a polo, othertimes only with long sleeves. in uniform, i have to wear a v-neck.

depending on the color of the long sleeve shirt, will dictate the color of the undershirt. they don't have to be white!

Was lazy and got out of it for awhile, but after getting a cold a couple of weeks ago, I started wearing them again. It's also a good idea to wear them for business, because some dress shirts are sheer and you don't need to show your nipples to people you're doing business with, unless you're an escort.

I do wear white t-shirt under my shirt to work.

At one point, I tried wearing tank tops because the guy that I liked wore them, and ever since, it's become quite a turn-on for me to see men in white tank tops.

Now I don't like him any more, and I'm back to white t-shirts again.

Being super hairy I should wear one, at least under a white shirt, but then i get too hot. I look for thicker cotton white dress shirts so that the hair doesn't show through quite so much.

It depends...most of the time; I wear tank tops. I do own a few tee shirts and a couple of V necks so I will wear one every once in a while.

Only when working outside in below-freezing weather. Then it's some form of long-sleeved (and legged) compression gear that passes perspiration.

Crew neck. I'm clearly a nerd because I feel weird if I can't see the undershirt when the collar is unbuttoned (like A_shirtGuy's picture), so with a v-neck I'd feel undressed, like I would if I wasn't wearing a belt.

For the tall guys: if you have trouble finding all cotton undershirts that are long enough, even after several hot washes and dries, try JC Penneys, their Stafford line. They have long and extra long; I always get the extra long.

I wear tank tops under my t-shirts and white vneck under my dress shirts or button downs
