Recently, I'm floored at how people see my body versus how I see it .. it's really quite amusing.

We all have those parts we know look awesome. For me it's my calves. I love them.

Twice now in the past month, I've received compliments, though, on parts of me that I've NEVER noticed before! Seriously!

I'm having a custom shirt tailored, and the guy goes on and on and on about my lats and how this is going to be a weird shirt for him to do - then we go on to talk about how I've picked up swimming again, blah blah blah.

Just yesterday, at lunch, a straight female friend gushed over my shoulders for a good 5 minutes. Not to the point of uncomfortable, but I was like, "really? they're that big?"

Anywho, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this. It's sort of reminding me to look less at my love handles and more at my lats. If only I could spin my head around backwards to get a good view.....

I've had people remark on my lats as well. I recall being at the gym with my friends once and he was talking about how "huge" my lats were while I was using the lat pulldown machine.
I personally don't see it, maybe its because hes a runner and not that big his sense of size is skewed icon_wink.gificon_lol.gif

When I was in China over the summer, people I met kept telling me I had beautiful eyelashes. I thought it was so odd. Apparently Westerners have the best eyelashes according to the Chinese

I work with a guy who constantly comments on my shoulders. He almost daily says, "check out the yolk on this guy!" For about a week he would say it once a day till I told him it was getting on my nerves. Now he'll comment on other parts of me like my delts or my tris rather than my traps. I'd prefer he just not comment on me at all. Now I try not to let him see me at work in my tank tops or cut off sleeves in order to avoid him and his broken record HEY LOOK AT THE BLANK ON THIS GUY comments. To him he is doing it as a compliment but to me it draws unnecessary attention and I'd prefer not to be labeled as a muscle head.

I always notice nice calves in the summer, good calves usually go with a nice butt.

    My tri's

Last week my female coworkers asked to see em.
I flexed em and they all screamed like I was one of
the Jonas Bros or something ! A lesbian client was near by.
She was screamin too ! LOL ! I dunno why dykes like me ?
Made me feel good though. My coworkers started whining,
" damn ! why do you have to be gay? ! " "Cuz I like dick," I replied. icon_lol.gif

Recently one of the ladies I work with commented on my back. She's very fit and knows all the right stuff regarding exercise and nutrition, we've worked out together a time or two and her opinion means a lot to me. She wasn't sure if it was the shirt I was wearing or not. I told her I recently changed my back routine and I was excited she noticed. My back has always been my weakest body part. Trying to change that.
