Would you rather have a man who has a beautiful body with a fugly face or a man with a beautiful face and a below-par body?

I'd rather a beautiful face and below-par body

Bodies can be improved by going to the gym, but faces are generally set for life

How fugly? I mean, I don't mind a guy that's a little rugged looking. It sorta matches up with a well built body.

And for the beautiful guy, how below par? Skin and bones? Beer gut? Overweight? Is the sub par body permanent? Because everyone's gonna pick the beautiful guy and say he can join a gym and work on the body.

What about sub-par face and body?

I'm screwed... or wait, destined to not be screwed... oh well!

Face guy here , But Ive noticed a lot of people think " they look bad" so I have a feeling a lot of self identified " butter-faces" are not really. IE they are their own worst enemy.

I'd love a man with a beautiful heart... body and face important yes, but what is inside, much more endearing.

I say face but not because Im being superficial but because you must connect on a visual level - especially the eyes and smile

Both, and neither. Whether the body and face is considered beautiful is moot.

What's important is if the body and face is attractive to YOU.

This is why some people post about fugly people with handsome people. Why why why, they ask.
The couple in question are attracted to each other.
That's it. It's also why good love is more attainable than many realize.

Neither Bill or I are exceptional in looks at all. Nuh uh.

And yet, we find each other exceptionally good looking. I'm now 58 and he's 56. We look at each other and under the age, which appears like a veil over each of us, we see each other as fresh faced and handsome as we found each other when we first met.

There are other eyes to see with than the ones on your face. icon_wink.gif

Hot body. The effort matters to me; you're born with the face. I like when a man is self-deprecating about his looks without being depressing to listen to ("Oh my god, I'm so ugly..." is a turnoff, but "Well, sorry about my nose getting in the way..." is cute).

The only truly ugly faces to me are the ones that are "enhanced" with surgery (as opposed to repaired, like after trauma or defect). Oh, you used to have a weak chin, but now that furiously jutting thing is what you paid thousands for? Yecccchhh. So now you wake up looking surprised all the time? Yecccchhh. Your brow CAN'T furrow with concern anymore? Yecccchhh.

Look at this guy; I can tell he likes to laugh a lot:

    Then look at this guy:

What the fuck! Ugly, ugly, ugly, through and through.

It kind of depends on how you define an ugly face. A round pudgy face is generally not a turn on for me. But other than that I tend to not like the "pretty" faces that so many gays like and prefer a more rugged face. Sometimes the "flaws" are an enhancement; for example, I love big noses.

I like a guy with some meat on his bones. Being chubby or bearish can be incredibly sex, it just depends on how you wear it. In the face, I usually look for kind, curious eyes and a nice smile.

Intelligence is more important for me. After enjoying sex with a pretty face gay or a perfect body guy, it will just fade with the time if there is nothing in his brain. A good connection, sensitivity, instruction, good manners are more important to me. Of course, if there is a guy with a real deformity of his facial features, surgery can help. A healthy diet and a gym routine can help to get a toned body that is always welcome. But one more time, most important for me is intelligence! Just my opinion!

Actually, remaining on-topic shallow here, I'd prefer the body to the face because most jacked guys tend to be better looking anyway since the low body fat heightens their cheekbones and jawlines, two markers of male attraction.

Assuming neither guy is an asshole, I'd go with the cute face and less than perfect body. The body can always be worked on. The face...well, that can be too, but there's always a chance they end up looking all Michael Jackson creepy afterwards.
