Well since I'm SINGLE (guys, cough cough), I was curious as to who had pet names for their significant others. If you don't have one, then what is your animals name...or both.

I'm single. No pet name here.

My dogs name is OJ and Smash (smash is a pug).

My next dogs names, out of respect for me being a weatherman, will be Dopplar or Boomer.

Me and my bf have a special type of language we speak to each other, more like grunts and some really weird pulled together language.

But the normal pet names are babe, love, gurl, boo, sugar tits, etc.

My actual pet names aren't any better. My leopard gecko named Sin. My tarantula named Rosemary. My two robo dwarf hamsters who don't have names but i refer to them as "rats" or "lizards".

My cat's name is Bebo. I got him for my 10th birthday - he's probably the best cat ever.

My old BF had all sorts of pet names for me. Buckaroo or Muffin were used most often. Lol.

I'm a gardening freak, so I've named my cats after flowers. I had one named Daisy, then I got another one I called Buttercup. When Daisy died I got a new one that I called Honeysuckle, but I just call her Honey. The next one will probably be Bluebell since my thieving mother called her cat Sweet Pea.

I'll move onto tree names if I get male cats. Larch has a nice ring to it.

    Dogs:

    Winston Churchill & Marie Hollande

    Pet names for people:

Single; but, exes used to go by something complimentary. I've often referred to them by there most noticable attribute. They now go by "asshole."

My last cat was Bella but I called her Wheezy because she had sinus problems.

My last boyfriend was Tucker but I call him Tucky or Little Tucky.

My current cat's official name is Kitty-Kitty but I called him just Kitty most of the time icon_smile.gif

It probably isn't appropriate for me to respond to this thread since I do not have a significant other or a pet, but I will weigh in anyway.

Pet names: I really like it when people get creative with pet names. Way to often people take the easy route and give their pets "people" names like Charlie, Francis, etc. I guess for arguments sake some people give their children what I would consider "animal" names like Apple, Coco. So scratch my theory and name your pets whatever the hell you want.

Sig. Others: There are not many people who can pull off the pet names for bf/gfs. It is good comedic entertainment to watch some of my friends attempt to do so. If it works for you great, but once in a relationship I will leave it for those who possess the actual skill.

My cats' names are as followed:
Daisy, Minnie, Baby, Rowdy, & Skippy

    My dogs:
River is a yorkie----he can pee alot for a little dog!
Stinky is a black mutt who loves to play fetch!

Anyone see a pattern with the names ending in "y" or "ie"icon_question.gificon_rolleyes.gif
