Will have just recently moved to Sydney. I think the plan is to watch the fireworks from the Blu Bar on 36 with my boyfriend, then some hot sex. icon_cool.gif

No major plans. My family rarely celebrates New Years in any way. We'll see if this year is any different.

No, may spend it at a local gay club that a friend of ours owns, still discussing it. We're taking him down to Key West 2 weeks after that, we obviously enjoy his company, very low-key guy who never drinks, despite owning a bar. He could be our designated driver home! LOL!

Or else a taxi, I won't drive on New Years, even though I never get seriously drunk. But others will be, and even if I have just a little alcohol in me it could slow my reaction time to avoid being hit, and make my legal position questionable. And who wants the hassle of any car accident, regardless of fault? I recommend everyone here consider their safe driving options.

Some of our other friends will be out of town, including the couple with whom we spent the holidays in New Hampshire last year. But we wanted a quieter Christmas & New Years without any big travel this year, rough past year medically for us, so low-key is the theme, whatever we decide to do. Even staying home wouldn't disappoint us. icon_biggrin.gif

    No big plans.

Funny, as soon as the first Christmas thread was posted I thought it'd be funny to make an obvious bid to be the first to get a jump on the next holiday by immediately posting a New Year's thread. WAIT! I have an idea...http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/3574399

fuck that. wouldn't it be better to watch your own balls drop into somebody's mouth instead though?

Hopefully like last year bring all my friends together for a game of billiard or bowling and then follow up at a local sports bar waiting for the ball to drop. The energy was unreal last time.

Aristoshark saidSitting at home in my apartment, sadly reading about all the fun and excitement my friends will post on Facebook that they're having on New Year's Eve. Around ten o'clock I'll warm a can of beans over the flickering light of a candle stump and then after my repast I'll hit the sack.

I think you need to buy some fancy bread though since it's a special occasion and don't buy generic beans. Brand name only!

probably being bored sober with the bf at his ex's magnificently clean and breakable and white, house trying not to spill anything, as the rest of his friends get really hammered. then probably trying to drive his drunk ass home in a manual transmission I dont know how to drive, and then rape him.

Ah, G, if only I could spend it with you. sigh

You would have some of the best stories to share over a can of beans. Stories that could rival mine. Sometime...we'll share a can of beans. icon_smile.gif

i think you should spill red wine all over everything. sounds like this guy lives in a hospital type environment. better yet, i recommend a pack of lab puppies with muddy paws.

I have 3 birthdays (2 kids and a partner), then Christmas Eve (kids) and Christmas Day (family) before I worry about NYE! I usually just collapse and start counting down until I have to start the December Mania again! I live for New Years!!!!
