    Franka Potente.

I can watch her in anything, regardless of the genre. I'm always amazed how different she can look depending on the part. That she's got a gig on a regular series -- do check out her bad-ass madam on Copper -- is a marvel to me.

I do like her blonde best.

The immortal Louise Robey. She was the first redhead I can remember seeing as a kid. Instant goddess-hood.

    Phylicia Rashad.

One of if not the all-time great TV moms. Cuttingly intelligent, successful, glamorous, strong-willed, cosmopolitan, even terrifying when you broke the rules.

"Isn't that what you wanted, Vanessa? You wanted to have big fun with The Wretched?"

    Maura Tierney.

I think she's very hot and one of those actresses who's delivered consistently excellent portrayals on TV for a long time without getting the critical credit she deserves (she was actually one of the highest-paid actresses on TV at one time, though you wouldn't know it).

I was heartbroken when she developed cancer, and I'm legitimately thrilled that she's recovered.

I once accidently drove right onto a Faye Dunaway set during filming. Boy did I piss some people off. I didn't know; I was just looking for a place to park. She was on deck doing a scene. I saw some open parking I pulled right up. I think it was this:

Anyway, sorry Faye. My bad. I like her very much. Chinatown is one of my all time favorites.

I like Jodie Foster, Angelina Jolie and Michelle Williams. They're all fabulous women/actresses! Jodie and Angelina kick ass in their movies, Michelle Williams is pretty esp. in her role as Marilyn Monroe. I used to love Cher/Alicia Silverstone from Clueless too! Recent actress I like - Jennifer Lawrence.

There were critics who used to knock Ryder for not being womanly enough. I caught Bram Stoker's Dracula the other day. I hadn't seen it in years, but she looks stunning with the long, dark fall and the low-cut dresses.

The scene where the three weird sisters descend on Van Helsing's camp and call out to her is one of the most gorgeously erotic set pieces I've seen in any vampire movie. She starts pawing at herself like she wants to take off all of her clothes and run naked through the snow, then tries to seduce Anthony Hopkins, panting and clawing like a cat in heat. She's perfect Victorian sexual repression unbound.

    Agreed lol.
I like Emma Watson, it's good to see young actresses who aren't crazy.

I am a Sandra Bullock fan and would love to even just watch her film her movies. For some reason I just think there would be laughs all the time.

I just found out right now she's married to Karen Kline. That's three actresses in a row I liked that turned out to be gay.

Blakes7 saidI'm surprised no one has mentioned Dame Judi Dench.

I think she's great but wish she'd stayed out of the Bond series. Still, I recognize that British actors tend to view work as work and while selective, will try just about anything. That's why British theatre is so much better than NY; limited runs with great actors doing interesting things in between bigger projects just to sharpen their timing.
