I loved it when he gives all the reasons for & against coming out. It was so genuine. Thanks for posting this video.

    WHO?

Not sure why people feel a need to make a big deal about coming out, as it only makes a big deal about our sexuality, and not just get on with living their lives and let that speak for them; but then I have been out just about my who life, so it's no big deal for me, as I've never lived a lie.

But if you have a wife, it's a wee different.

yeah agree 100%, this dude could have skipped the vid, people are more sophisticated now, anybody that knows him already knew without him telling anybody.

And,... we're in a post "coming out" society now. u don't have to declare your sexuality as a right of passage, nobody cares anymore. it's not a big deal. get over yourself.

LOL... True in places. I wish this is true everywhere. Russia is now hell and dark age for LBGT and human rights. It's now the "Intersex" coming out that would be news. Germany recently legalizes intersex babies. About one in 2000 babies are intersex. The medical industry have kept this under the rug for so long.

I disagree. Especially for a public figure. Sure, we come out to those who know us. First. Then more casually to sales clerks, hotel reservation people, etc. Then to the guy who is doing hiring for a job you want? Then to the acquaintance who wants to set you up on a date with this girl she knows. Then to.... Point is, you never get done with coming out. Because we are an invisible minority. So if you're in the public eye, it is just so much easier to do it once BANG! and you're done. And it is good for us to be more and more visible. Don't forget there's a whole Republican Party out there trying to roll back what's been accomplished lately and still blocking equality in more than half the States. You can still get FIRED for being gay.
