Anyway, you've posted some stuff I'm not familiar with. Some country-esque stuff I've trouble getting into and though I love jazz but something about blues, even as it passes itself off as smooth, hits me like hard rock. I prefer the softer stuff.
I adore the Doors. One of my cousins collaborated for a while with one of their kids (vague enough of a namedrop?).
I was gonna post some Simon & Garfunkel but decided that was too easy. At some point I probably knew every word & every note to every one of their songs. Them and Crosby Stills et al.
Interesting how some are so soulful, while others, being extremely good, are not. Moody Blues, very moody, ELP, too obvious, Tull? on the cusp, but ELO or Yes, probably no even though meditative.
