The Art of Shaving is online and there's a brick & mortar store not far from me. I'm thinking about a shaving set for my husband. Similar to what he and I once had 50 years ago, but modernized for multi-blade disposable cartridges. Any experience with this company? Reminds me of Hoffritz, but I believe owned by Proctor & Gamble.

I think I've got some free samples of their stuff - I've never opened the box. It seems as though it came with some gay-related marketing material...

Well it was while using my iPad that I saw their ad on RJ, which made me curious. (I have an ad-blocker for my iMac Safari browser, where I usually view RJ)

So anybody else know this company? My husband uses a Gillette Fusion Power razor that he keeps out on the sink, I'd like to get him something that doesn't look like a cheap plastic toy, along with a matching stand & brush.

I'm reading mixed reviews online regarding the durability of the electrics in these products, some personal experiences with them would be invaluable. Or tips about other comparable companies I should check out. Thanks!

haven't been inside, but the store looks very nice from the outside. in addition, amazon reviews appear overwhelmingly positive -
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bl_sr_hpc?ie=UTF8&field-brandtextbin=The+Art+of+Shaving&node=3760901. i'd appreciate a gift from that company and i'm sure your hubby will as well. good luck.
