Based on his very sad performance this past weekend. Some said he didn't look like a 35-year-old fighter, he looked 50.

I didn't spend the $60 or whatever to watch the fight, but i've seen the highlights and still pics and he looked bad.

I've been almost a fan of his for the past decade, but as much as i have always wanted him to win, he has always frustrated and confounded me in not going all out, always seemingly holding something back, not taking any chances whatsoever, etc. Yeah, i guess i'm kind of a fan because of his looks and charm, but he has really turned out to be a disappointment. i hope that's not his legacy.

It's always sad when time catches up with someone you admire. Or when it happens to yourself, for that matter.

The "stars" of my youth have all mostly faded away, whether in movies, stage, sports, entertainment, politics, television... it can be very depressing.

But time does that to all of us. We stand on a heartless conveyor belt that moves us forward all the time, and we watch those ahead of us fall off the end into... what? And day by day, there are fewer people ahead of us, whether the famous or our family & friends, as we get closer to the edge.

As for Oscar, I was never a boxing fan. But I will miss his naked weigh-ins. LOL!!!

He isn't among the most respected fighters because of how selective he's been in his fights. He's often been seen as selecting easier opponents, even when that hasn't been the case. But he obviously was out of his league in this fight. Pacquiao barely let de la Hoya get a punch in. It's time for him to retire. As for his naked weigh-ins, we still have pictures of that. And of his earlier body.

And his current body in fishnets, too, if you'd like...

He was finished that night . I feel he has some good fights in him still but, I feel like moving foward, he will start descending his throne.

Cant stand the guy!

Hmmm, We still have Ricki Hatton, Margarito and Marquez.

I want to see Ricki Hatton fight Pacman. (Now this would be a good fight)

Money mayweather, hopkins, mosley, oscar, jones jr are the only guys who can draw ppv numbers. They're the biggest names past the days of Tyson and Lweis. Oscar just made 30mil on this last fight, these other boxers can't draw that or draw ppv fans

Montreal88 saidOscar de la Hoya is way over & old. Our very own Manny Pacquiao the Pride of the Philiipines. I'm so proud to be a Filipino. We did it! Pacquiao is the greatest fighter in Asia and he will conquer the World.

He's killing our people man "Mexecutioner" My repects to Paquiao! (Marquez almost had him and gave a good fight but, he did not win)

Congrats.

I think he's done. And based on his comments after the fight, I think he knows it.

He's done until he needs to make a comeback. He is used to his lifestyle and might need the $$$,$$$.$$ to keep it going!
