Long thought it would be Mark Reuss or Mary Bara. Well, It's Mary. World's first vagina as CEO of major car company or any car company that I know of. In product development she 'banged' out flawless new product releases one after another.

Akerson retires early due to wife with advanced cancer.

Mark now has Bob Lutz's old job as head of product development.

It really isn't looking good for GM:

The press won’t make it easy for you to discover–gets in the way of the pre-packaged “Detroit is back!” narrative–but it looks like General Motors lost market share again in 2013. According to Ward’s Auto, GM sales grew 7.3%–but the market as a whole grew 7.5%. … GM sales for December unexpectedly cratered, despite “high inventory levels … unseen since before the Great Recession.” … If this is a good year for GM, I wonder what a bad year will look like.

Weather in midwest and especially upper midwest in December.

However, when it comes to product, even CR is getting it figured out in regards to GM. It will be a while before the know nothings are on board though.
