I only give that information out with the street I grew up on, my mother's maiden name, and the make of my first car.

But given their looks, personalities and relationship...

...I'd have named them Hubbell and Katie had I gotten them at the same time:

That would've been Spot on (pun intended).

I have a terrier mutt... too dark to be a Cairn, too light and too big to be a Yorkie...

His name is Morpheus, but will answer to "Morph" or "Mo"... and occasionally he answers to "shithead".

The rescued stray cat who's lived with me since May '12 was named "Blaliko" 'cause her coat looks like the aftermath of a black cat and a calico hooking up. (The "k" makes the name pseudo-Japanese; "ko" is a common suffix for Japanese girls' names, like the "ette" of Antoinette or the "ita" of Juanita.)
Her daughter (born circa March '12) was named "Seteria," for a long-ago classmate. She has a pink nose and is white with lots of gray markings.

My Beagle cross with jack russell is called: Rusty Pat the Dog haha.

My family nickname is Rusty because we have red heads in the family and Rusty has some ginger bits so it made sense to us.

We have only one dog now. This is Walter. He is 9 years old, and is part Chow-Chow & part Shiba Inu. He was a rescue dog. (He loves riding is cars; going for hikes; & chasing squirrels up trees. Mostly - he loves hanging out and being around people).

I had a rat/jack Russell mix, named Saffy. It took me a month to decide on a name, while I was watching AbFab on DVD. I'd call her "sweetie darling." Saffy just seemed the natural choice.

I have a cat named Buster, cuz he busted some of my favorite things when he was a kitten. Then, he got fat as he grew so I nicknamed him, "Bubba" for his chubby belly.

I had a cat, Adelaide (South Australia, Australia) and now have a dog, Hatteras (North Carolina, USA). Debating names for my next pet. Cuzco (Peru) or maybe Serengeti (Kenya), but won't know until I rescue them.
