    and for playing sports?

    Boxers (loose)
    Briefs

I love fun underwear. Lol, I feel so incredibly gay saying that, but *shrugs* can't hide from the truth, lol.

Personally, depends on the pants I'm wearing - if they are baggy jeans then boxers (which I wear more often than not), if they are kinda tight jeans I tend to wear briefs to sort of bring everything...into focus, lol. Not obscenely so, but enough that if you were looking...you'd notice.

At the gym...boxers. boxers boxers boxers.

Also, I don't know if any of you have run into this, but here goes

I've got large thighs from a lot of biking and rugby. I also have this pair of ck 'trunk' style boxer-briefs that I absolutely LOVE because they make my ass look amazing. Truely stellar.
Problem I have is that they keep bunching up where around my pelvis - is this just the way the undies are gonna go on me or does this happen to everyone?

I wear briefs pretty much exclusively.

I have issues with boxer briefs and briefs bunching up, so I rarely wear either unless I'm not wearing any pants, then I'll wear them as pajamas, with a t-shirt or nothing else.

    Interesting!

That "bunching up" problem is annoying but can be overcome but not wearing pants that are so tight.

Myself, because I am over 6', I wear boxer-briefs for everyday and under cotton or nylon boxer style shorts for the gym but Underarmour boxer-brief style under soccer shorts to play Volleyball especially in Tournaments.

Well, I don't wear tight pants, just pants that fit well enough to not be baggy, and have enough room not to constrict movement or other things. Even when i wore really loose jeans I still had boxer briefs bunch up, so the tightness of the jeans doesn't make any difference to me.

I prefer the look of briefs anyway, damn hot on the right body(not necessarily mine) and are more comfortable to me.

I wear plaid boxers all the time, and when I am at the gym I wear a jockstrap. Don't see too many of those being used for their intended purpose these days, do ya?

Not much of a boxer fan other than for sleeping....I learned the hard way sleeping au naturale at a hotel and with a firelarm I learned how to make a toga FAST.

I like briefs mostly, and boxer briefs. For sports comfortable coolmax jockstrap or cotton works. Cup for contact sports.

What is it about Under Armour that makes is so popular? I know they have a line of workout wear but I have never tried. Is it underwear and activewear? Any suggestions as to what to buy?

I obviously am a brief guy (aussiebum especially), but i will wear the occasional boxer or boxer brief but mainly around the house and not out anywhere because i dont like that they bunch up and get crazy in my pants.

Boxers all day everyday, unless I need to do laundry. Then I wear briefs.
At the gym I do boxer brief, they give me more flexibility without choking my boys.

    Jockstraps.... YUCK
They are so old fashioned, so last century, ugly and uncomfortable.
Now there are many much better support alternatives that don't bind, wick away the sweat and look nice as well!

UnderArmour along with Nike, Addidas and the knock offs (even at Target) have many styles and colors of support shorts that use modern materials.

You can get them at any sporting goods stores.

I wear my jock or compression shorts or combo of both for the tough sports. Of course I slip in my yellow banana cup if it involves a hard ball. For everyday wear my preference these days is boxer briefs. I don't like briefs without a fly although I know many of you do.

I wear the seamless Jockey Sport briefs that have a waistband made of the same fabric as the body. I don't like underwear with elastic-fabric waistbands that shrink in the wash. They always make me think that I'm getting fat, when I'm not.

I've got everything under the sun! Depending on what I wear and the outdoor temp depends on the style I wear.

Mostly boxers, though I do have some tidy whities.

Two reasons why I don't wear briefs as much.

    --Stubborn love handles

--Using a laundromat, which often results in the whities not being so white
