    Hello,

If I may ask, how do you approach people and make the first move when you meet? What is the usual conversation that you have when you first meet someone? Is it at a bar? A party? Where?

My first conversation with someone I find attractive is always the same, "excuse me, do you speak English?" If the answer is no, then I continue, if it's yes, I generally pass.

I'd ask him, but I can't understand a single word he says.

This is a very interesting question.

I'm always uncomfortable during the first conversation. So much actually that I don't even know what I say.

It usually starts off with questions like where the guy is from, what his profession is, etc. Basic stuff.

"You see this gun? It's loaded. Now get in the boot of the car."

    Or

"Does this cloth smell of chloroform to you?"

Exactly! Self conciousness eats me over and I start to lose the plot.

Yeah but i'm looking for something that keeps the conversation interesting and not makes me look like a curious mom.

At a bar/party: "Hey, are you here with anyone?"
