I have several, but this is probably number one. The Karen Carpenter version of Merry Christmas Darling. Glee did a very good cover of this a few seasons ago.

    Canada's oldest Christmas carol.

The early French treated the First Nations as equals, rather than being interested in removing them from their land, or destroying their cultures, they sought to save their souls, and the french missionary that originally created this song with his Huron friends was this fellow:

    There's barely a Christmas song I don't love.
Just yesterday, I was on a long line in a store and they played one that makes me weep. I had to work hard not to drop tears in front of strangers.
Here's my favorite, an hysterical lesson in phrasing gone wrong.
"Throw the yule log on, Uncle John!"
And the kids here are so cute.

I like it when contemporary artists put their own style on a classic:

and I was a kid living in germany when this song came out and it was HUGE there. in fact the germans loved wham/george michael alot. it still triggers christmas memories and it definitely on my playlist this time of year.

Definitely this one since it's pretty much always accurate lol icon_mad.gif

But for the happier tunes, my favorite versions will always be the Disney ones lol. I miss my childhood more than anything icon_sad.gif

    One awkward silence
And two hopes you cry yourself to sleep
Staying up, waiting by the phone
And all I want this year is for you to dedicate your last breath to me
    Before you bury yourself alive

    Don't come home for Christmas
You're the last thing I wanna see
    Underneath the tree
Merry Christmas, I could care less
