Galaxy S3. I like it a lot. Large screen that isn't too large. Quad core processor. I like the enhancements that Samsung did with the TouchWiz UI. Android OS allows me to what I want/need with my data.

I'll probably upgrade to the S5 when it comes out. It's supposed to have some crazy awesome low light performance.

As far its been I have to say Galaxy J is and should have been the rightful design which they did a huge mistake on the S4.

I would get the Galaxy J which is the S4 in new body, Of which very much screamed the huge design flaw of choice on the S4. Dotted pattern isn't a fanciful in micro polish plastic.

    Simple , Neat , Balanced & sleek.

look how handsome and neat it could have been.
S4 left..and the Galaxy J on the right. Spec are all the same.

    * at the moment only available in Taiwan.

I started with zero Apple products, Now I use and iPhone, cuz it plays so well with all the other apple devices (computers, routers, TV, tablets, iPods) and everything works really well and there is so little hassle. For most my life all my gadgets were disjointed and I was always having to deal with various problems and compatabilities that kept coming up. Everything has been easier and more enjoyable since I made the switch a few years ago. I don't nit-pick on individual features being better or worse compared to other manufacturers just because all the major players take turns leap-frogging each other anyhow.

Well S5 will be in a diamond metal housing of what headlines are going on, basically a carbon fiber mix material which seem to stand scratches and all.

Let just hope it does not look weird "trying to look different in design" shape icon_rolleyes.gif

That said Im Happy with Sony's Z1, camera aint a fool icon_cool.gif, but battery sucks so meh.icon_rolleyes.gif

The 5S. Ever since I switched to Apple products, I have become loyal to them. Plus, I own stock with them and I've been very happy with that. icon_smile.gif

    HTC One.

Great screen, camera, love the Android OS.

Android allows me to tweak app code which Apple does not.

Used to be an Apple guy and now I am a Droid guy.

I just switched to a newer phone about a month ago. I'm an android user with Mobile for the longest time. So it came down to either a new Samsung or a new LG! Some of the newer phones are just too damn pricy (LG L2, S4, Ip5) cost up to like $650/per user. Even if you make payment, you're on the hook to pay the large amount anyway! I decided to go with the Samsung Galaxy Light (it's a newer a little less tech version of the Sam Sung Galaxy S4). The original price is about $260 (I wasn't going to spend over $350 for a new phone), I got it for $160 because of the holiday sale! It works great, I like it.

AT&T Avail™2 GoPhone®. Android. I pay $25 every two months; effectively $12.50 every month. It's usually off and the minutes are rolling over so I have a big balance.

I forgot to answer the "why" part: because Apple is evil.

I have a broken iphone 5 and I'm switching back to blackberry (for a Q10)

I used to have an iphone 3G, then went to blackberry with the bold 2 (9700) and 3 (9900), then back to iphone 4 and 5.
The thing I don't like with iphones (or similar phones like samsungs) is that it's basically a toy-phone and it's more fun than useful.
I just call, text, and use FB/Twitter, internet.

(Plus, iPhones are so expensive. When it breaks and you don't have insurance, aoutch)

iPhone 5 here - was my old work phone and they gave it to me as a gift when I left my last work place. Before that I had a Galaxy Nexus. I prefer Android and everything you can do with it but the iPhone has really grown on me and seems like an all round great package with quality feel hardware (which I found most Android phones lacked) along with a well polished OS. iOS7 is great and leaps and bounds ahead of iOS6, even if they did steal some features and styling cues from Android and Windows phone.

Gee, and I wonder where Android & Windows first got THEIR basic feature ideas? And the new Galaxy J looks as close to a 5/5S iPhone copy as you can get without a lawsuit.

    We have a 5S and a 5, both 64GB.
Also 2 iPad Air 128GB (he actually doesn't get his new Air until Christmas, to replace his iPad Gen 3, hidden away in my closet)
2 iMacs (he's got the latest thin model, both with SSD)
1 15" MacBook Pro (our oldest device in service, but still works great)

The beautifully integrated Apple ecosystem is a big advantage to us. And we use iCloud on all 7 devices, which keeps our calendars, contacts and to-do lists in continuous sync without our having to do anything, it just happens as changes occur. And with his new iPad Air we'll be able to use a common Lightning connector for all 4 mobile devices, much neater.
