I only have one person blocked. I'm guessing he can't email because he brings the bullshit from the email unto the board. I just ignore it. Still. Seeing it on the board is still annoying. On imdb, I've put so many people on ignore/block, usually 1/3 of the film pages I go to consists of a half ignored board.

i think there's a way to label emails as spam, so you wouldn't get to see them.
As for the posts, you can only skip them and scroll down when you know it's from the guy that pisses you off OR you can have a go at them on the thread and that's way more entertaining for everybody and you get to vent icon_smile.gif

I don't see why there is need for the blocking option icon_confused.gif I mean it is not like he can touch you or anything. I have never blocked anyone, and I have gotten hate mail in the past, and intimidatory mail.

I tend to fight back icon_twisted.gif and bullies don't like that. They usually run away with there tale between there legs if you bark at them, and some you just may have to bite icon_lol.gif

no, blocking is for people who get tired of seeing the same crap over and over in the threads.

they should implement a rule that you can't create threads or comment on them until you've been active for 30 days (so you can see what's already being said). everyone always thinks their thread is some new idea or impression. the ones that particularly irritate me are about love, coming out, steroids, gay identity, g0y insanity, and anything pattison utters (which, like a 100-car-pile up, is completely impossible to ignore).

    edit:
after saying that i went and found a video of a 100-car pile up.

pussies also ask people in public forums whether or not they're in love. figure it out on your own and stop subjecting me to everyone's overly romanticized theory on the subject.

I tried to block someone and it didn't even work, he could still message me and in the forums, there is no method to block a person at all. Ofcourse, it's easy to scroll over them, but I think something a little more permanent is definitely in order.

I think you should save that 16 car pile up video award for the next time a thread named " so when I put my phone on vibrate...." gets 17511 views or the next time you see a thread named " Shower room Stiffy Etiquette," or something to that effect.

What to do when guys in the shower at your gym wave boners at you....give me the address to this bleedin gym! NOW!

I have said this before. I think, based on what I have seen in those forums Pattison should be kicked off RJ. He is here for no good reason. Just to irritate and offend. And when you bite back it's poor me, and One this and One that.

If I were to say some of the things Pattison said, you would have hounded be out of RJ along time ago.

When I say anything to him I get emails telling me how mean I am. And I have to say those emails come from guys that I like and respect. I just can not understand why they can see what I see. Why they can not see through his crap.

And then to top it all off, he reports me, and I'm asked to leave him alone. Yes Pattison, they emailed me. Something else to add to your overly inflated ego.

Has Pattison ever been reported for all the offencive crap he posts on here?

I have been told that Pattison is really a nice guy. Sorry, but being nice in private and being the opposite in the forums sounds like a guy with problems icon_rolleyes.gif

I was also told the same thing about Alpha what ever. And we all know about him icon_rolleyes.gif

I was born and raised on a farm and still live on a farm, believe me I know what bullshit smells like.

i've reported pattison on several occasions. i have the distinct honor of being the person responsible for having his "was hitler gay?" thread removed.

who has told you pattison is nice??? i want to block them too, just for being stupid.

I am not telling you who told me he is nice. I like and respect those guys. So no names. I just hope they did not help him with reporting me icon_eek.gif

I have to admit he seems to have power. Chucky made a hobby of reporting me, and even got others to help try and get me kicked off RJ, but yet I never got a warning.

There Pattison, another boost to that ego of yours icon_rolleyes.gif

To be completely honest, MikePhil, you come across somewhat pathological in posts like this. Do RJ members now require valid reasons for being here? What constitutes validity? And who chooses?

When I come across somebody who really irritates me here repeatedly, I make a point of getting to know them. Once I do, I'm far less likely to be irritated or phased by things they say. I know me, and I know that I'm biased, and when I have decided I personally like somebody, I'm gonna be willing to overlook a lot of things that irk me. And voila, drama avoided.

Well, MikePhil's days on here may be numbered, and you can thank Pattison for that. I'm sure he will report this also, and I'm not going to button my lip.

It would be ideal that once a person started typing in a forum topic that he would be referred to other topics that are very similar so we would not be experiencing "Groundhog's Day", but I don't know if the technology would allow it.

I assumed the "blocking" feature was just to prevent people from IM or e-mailing you.

Pretty soon RJ will exhaust forum topics. I mean after you eliminate love, sex, politics, religion and coming out, the number of topics start to dwindle.

No one needs to have a reason to be here. But Pattison has a reason for being here, and it is not a good one. That is my point. It amazes me that others here can not see that.
