ART_DECO saidI've been making tacos with turkey meat at home for over 20 years. I put ground turkey in a sauté pan, along with a powdered taco seasoning mix. But instead of adding water per the recipe I use an identical amount of low-salt beef broth, reducing it down over the heat as I would the water, until the ground turkey has the correct consistency.
The finished meat looks and tastes very much like beef, and makes a good taco. And, I believe, a healthier one.
Scruffypup saidAs much as I like turkey in general, I've never liked ground turkey.
gs_pac saidIt should be interesting. I know plenty of others who don't like it, but I personally like ground turkey...er, turkey in general.
