I do have a type, ( not going to specify what that is now ) but I find that I end up attracting the opposite of this quite often. ( this does not necessarily mean ugly men, but just men who's interests and qualities are extremely different from mine )

Do you feel that your type is rare or that you gain more attention from guys most opposite of your type ?

sure. my "type" is intelligent, humble, non-superficial, and with a passion for something in life. apparently, this is too much to ask.

Oh come on, so a 350-lb humble non-superficial guy with a passion for something (eating, apparently) has a shot with you?

perhaps, if he's intelligent also. icon_lol.gif

seriously, i've only been with/dated guys around my weight, give or take 25 lbs, but i'd never say never. i'm not that hung up on guys with "perfectly" fit bodies. it's nice to look at, but i've talked to enough to know that it takes much more to hold my interest.

Up until my ex, my type was young, dumb, good looking white boys in uniform. My first bf was also a Marine.

Since we broke up I've made an effort to not seek that type out. Now I'm on the outlook for handsome, mature (30's-40's) established European men. Like actually from Europe, none of this American redneck shit. It may seem like I'm in it for the money, but I'm really not. My love don't cost a thing. icon_biggrin.gif

I also have a whole laundry list of what else I would like him to possess, but that's another story.

    Mentally? Yes.

Most people are conformists and that bothers me. It reminds me of a herd of cattle. One leads and the others follow, they bore me.

I am enigmatic and it makes others very uncomfortable, for once I would like to befriend one of the same mindset.
