I work hard at the gym and I've been getting slowly bigger for years... but I have not never gotten pumped no matter what I do. I really wonder why.

It could be related to your diet. Some people just can't process carbs as efficiently as others. I'd try cutting out the carbs entirely for a week or so and seeing if that makes a difference. If it works, then slowly add carbs back in, but make sure they are complex carbs and that you're getting a lot of fiber.

Most people just go through the motions and push the weights around at the gym. You need to focus on form and feel your muscles doing the work. The goal is get the blood rushing to the muscles you're working on. That's the "pump" or "getting swole" as the kids say these days.

    Thanks, Joe and xrich.
I'm growing so I don't think I'm just going through the motions, though.
    I just don't get pumped.
Pumps don't last so it's not an issue but I was just wondering why it doesn't happen.

It is a great feeling. If you've never experienced a pump you may want to look at your firm while performing your exercises. You may be doing something wrong because you should feel a pump at some point

chuckystud's lookin' good. Now about form...notice how he's contracting (pulling with) his rhomboids/back before pulling up with his arms, isolating that region instead of largely working just his arms. That's form.

Dunno... I never got much of a "pump" until I used that NOXplode stuff for a year or so. Yeah, there's no good evidence that it has much lasting benefit, but anyway, now I get almost the same pump without it. For whatever reason. (Not that it's a really huge one, comparatively speaking.)
